Co-/working: startup vs non-startup environment
Half a year ago I did break my old 3GS LCD display and was very lazy to fix it. Last Friday I thought that’s enough and finally decided to pay some money to fix it. So today I visited a small company in The Hague which does exactly that — fixes mobile phones. It’s called NODEFiX. I was astonished with a fact the whole procedure took 20 minutes only. 70 euro for 20 minutes. Very good business!
While the guy was busy with my toy I found out they rent a room in some sort of business garden (President Kennedylaan 19, located at TAURO building, 2517 JK Den Haag). I recently started to think about a dedicated space for work (I am still considering cafe’s though). So I found via Twitter a company in The Hague offering office space. It’s called Nomadz. Most of their clients are Internet startups. That’s completely opposite to the place I visited today. So I thought… Do you think it would be actually much more interesting (in regards of getting potential customers) to rent a space at the place I visited today instead of going alone the startup folks? Both certainly have pros and cons. :) Anyway, this is something to think about.
