Press Day at Moscow Airshow MAKS-2011

Having a rest after a rather intense and hot day at MAKS Moscow airshow yesterday. Event organisation really sucked: car owners had huge problems with parking places, bus drivers did not know where to go, there were huge traffic jams so we were getting to the event 1,5 hours instead of 30 mins, police guy was checking the passports inside the overcrowded bus (at the event we were passing by the additional extremely detailed searching point), receptionists at the press centre didn’t have more than 1 copy of the official event program (it was a Press Day yesterday), if you wanted to hold you badge on you neck you had to pay 200 rubbles for the fabric holder (not a big deal but it’s just wrong), there was no water, neither tea nor anything else for the press representatives while it was a rather hot weather (+32C) and we were at the open space with no shadow, until the very moment journalists almost organised a revolution against the exhibition management, the flight program was completely chaotic not following the official program, the main aircraft of the airshow, T-50, was not shown to the journalists at all, on the way back when the mass of people got into the tunnel to get to the trains we saw there was no light so we were moving in the complete darkness making a light only by our mobile phones. What would happen if it was a public day when thousands of people would get into that tunnel??
